![]() The new IBS (Integrated Breathing System ) is a fusion of the bag-in-bottle, absorber, and patient circuit.
These three parts are now integrated into one system, drastically reducing tubing connections between machine and patient.
![]() Siesta i TS is equipped with various safety/emergency features, such as emergency fresh-gas flow switch, fresh gas flow switch between circle system (IBS) and auxiliary gas outlet.
Additional features: O2 flowmeter with separate outlet with tube nipple and integrated patient suction unit.

![]() IBS - Integrated Breathing System
With the IBS you can forget about time-consuming multiple tubing connections between the machine, the patient system and the patient.
The IBS is a single integrated unit consisting of an ascending bag-in-bottle, patient circuit and absorber.
As a result of the fusion of these three parts, there are no patient tubing between the IBS and the machine, and only 2 tubing (insp./exp.) between the IBS and the patient.
This unique new system will thus save you time before an operation, during preparation, and also after the operation during cleaning procedures.
Valves
The yellow valve flaps ensure a visual control of ongoing inspiration and expiration.
A new handy manual respiration valve with "pressure", "closed" and integrated into the IBS.
The manual bag connection is situated under the manual ventilation valve.
I-SORB absorber
The new absorber design ensures maximum utilization of soda lime in the IBS, thus eliminating waste of unused soda lime. The capacity of the I-SORB is approx. 900 g of soda-lime, and is available in re-usable or disposable versions.
Correct attachment of the absorber is monitored by a sensor in the system.
Bag-in-bottle
Re-design of the well-known Dameca bag-in-bottle with ascending bellows.
Capacity of 20-1500 ml. and infants can be ventilated by the same bag-in-bottle as adults.
